Cardio Kickboxing Bag Class
Get ready to sweat and have a blast with our high-energy cardio bag class! This class combines boxing, kickboxing, and other martial arts techniques for a full-body workout that will torch calories, improve coordination, and leave you feeling empowered. All levels welcome!
- Mobility and flexibility warm-up
- Bodyweight calisthenics and core exercises
- Kickboxing and self-defense fundamentals and technique
- Heavy bag drills and pad work
- Non-contact (no sparring or “live” drilling)
- No contract or gym membership required
- Limited class size, please register in advance to reserve your spot

Totem's Group Classes are NOT intended to treat pain or injury. If you are experiencing pain, we strongly recommend scheduling a Movement Evaluation with one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy to identify the underlying cause and create a personalized plan.

Tyler
PT, DPT, COMT, BRM
Dr. Tyler Boyd graduated in 2021 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University and in 2019 from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology of Exercise. He is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, specializing in advanced manual therapy techniques for the cervicothoracic & lumbar spine, as well as upper & lower extremity conditions. He has attained the Westside Barbell Personal Training and Athletic Coaching certification, specializing in implementation of the Conjugate Method to improve strength and athletic performance. He has also obtained a certification in the Barbell Rehab Method, specializing in coaching and modifying barbell exercises for clients with pain. Tyler is passionate about powerlifting, and has competed in the USAPL in the 90kg class.

MBA, CPT, CNC, SFC
Liam Carlin received his Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management in 2018 and Master’s of Business Administration in 2019 from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Taking the academic business knowledge gained in school he applied this to his real passion, health and fitness. As a life-long exercise enthusiast Liam is well versed in injury risk-reduction, balance and agility, metabolic conditioning and weight-loss, functional bodybuilding, and martial arts training. With a personal injury history that includes 3 ACL tears and subsequent surgical reconstructions, he has spent numerous hours learning first hand what it takes to recover from an injury. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Stretch and Flexibility Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Dr. Gage Swartz earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University while having an athletic career for the WVU wrestling team. Gage then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University. Gage has also received his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Gage has also obtained his USA Weightlifting credentials from the US Olympic committee, and is certified in Functional Movement Screens. These tools have allowed Gage to hone his passion for improving sports performance. Gage has a strong passion for the field of sports performance using a holistic approach to improving the human movement experience. Outside of work, Gage enjoys wrestling, hiking, kayaking, hunting, and spending time with his dogs and family.
